In 1992 Mont Blanc released the Lorenzo De'Medici.  The De' Medici was the first in Mont Blanc's Patron of the Arts Limited Edition series.  The De' Medici is essentially a sterling reproduction of the pen offered above.  In fact, the 1992 Lorenzo De'Medici marketing poster shows a sterling example of the pen offered above.
